Pricing you can figure out yourself

You pay a flat plan fee plus the compute your apps actually use. Static sites and idle projects don't add anything. You'll see a real monthly bill before you ever sign up.

flat plan fee + compute you actually run = your monthly bill

Your plan is one flat monthly fee. It covers the pipeline, your seats, and your quotas. On top of that, you only pay for the compute your apps use. We price it by container size, by the hour, and we prorate it. Static sites don't run a container, so they cost nothing beyond the plan. Every paid plan comes with some compute to start. You can set a spending cap, and we'll alert you before you reach it.

$0 /mo

no card required

Side projects, prototypes, and learning.

Example: a small API A Node, Python, or Go API plus Postgres, or a few static sites $0 / mo
  • 2 micro containers (0.2 vCPU / 256 MB) for preview and production
  • 1 dev/test Postgres, 5 GB (no backups)
  • Up to 4 static sites
  • Stays on while you're active. Projects idle for 14+ days sleep, and wake instantly
  • Push to deploy from Git, with a preview on every PR
  • 1 seat

Memory-heavy apps like Spring Boot and other JVM apps need more room. One click moves you to Pro for a bigger container.

How compute billing works

Pick a size and the price is fixed. We bill by the hour and prorate it. Turn something off and you stop paying for it.

Size Relative power Good for Per month*
small 0.25 vCPU / 0.5 GB A Node, Python, or Go API or worker $10
medium 0.5 vCPU / 1 GB An app with a busy database or queue $30
large 1 vCPU / 2 GB A service under steady production load $60
xl 2 vCPU / 4 GB Heavy background jobs or lots of traffic $120
2xl 4 vCPU / 8 GB The largest single-container workloads $240

*Shown per month for a container running 24/7. Actually billed per container-hour (monthly ÷ 720) and prorated. Static sites don't run a container, so they cost nothing beyond your plan.

Add-ons & overages

  • Extra seat $9 / mo
  • Extra PR-preview slot $5 / mo
  • Extra concurrent build $20 / mo
  • Bandwidth over included $0.10 / GB
  • Build minutes over included $0.01 / min
  • Postgres storage over 5 GB $0.15 / GB / mo

Frequently asked questions

What will I actually pay each month?

Your plan fee plus the compute you run. A single small always-on service on Pro is about $39/mo. That's the $29 plan plus a $10 small container, minus your $10 included credit. A three-service app is about $69/mo. Static sites don't run a container, so they cost nothing beyond the plan. That means $0 on Free. The receipts above show the full math.

What does the Free tier include?

Two micro containers (0.2 vCPU / 256 MB) for preview and production, one dev/test Postgres (5 GB, no backups), and up to four static sites. It stays on while you're active. Nothing spins down on a cold start the way some hosts do. Only projects left idle for 14+ days go to sleep, and they wake instantly on the next request. A Node, Python, or Go API plus Postgres, or a few static sites, runs at $0. Free includes one dev/test database. Larger managed databases and more of them come with Pro and Team.

My app is memory-heavy (Spring Boot, JVM). Will Free work?

The Free micro container (256 MB) is sized for lightweight Node, Python, and Go services. A JVM app like Spring Boot needs more memory than that. One click moves you to Pro and a bigger container. You won't get stuck. You'll just be asked to size up.

What happens if I go over my included bandwidth, build minutes, or database storage?

You keep running. Nothing shuts off. We bill the overage at a flat, published rate: $0.10/GB for bandwidth, $0.01/min for build minutes, and $0.15/GB per month for managed Postgres storage over the 5 GB included. You can set a spending cap, and we'll alert you before you get close.

How is compute measured?

Per container, by size, by the hour. A small is $10/mo if it runs all day, every day. Under the hood that's the monthly price divided by 720 hours, and we prorate it. Turn a container off and you stop paying for it that hour. There's no CPU-second accounting to reverse-engineer.

What does a static site cost?

Static sites don't run a container, so they cost nothing beyond your plan. That means $0 on Free, up to four sites. You still get a custom domain, Git deploys, and PR previews without paying for compute.

Can I run this in my own Azure?

Yes, on Enterprise. You keep the same VIBSL pipeline and dashboard, but your containers run in your own subscription. Your data and workloads stay in your cloud, and you pay your cloud provider for the compute directly. It works on Azure today, with AWS and GCP on the way.

Can I change plans or cancel anytime?

Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel whenever you want, on your own. Changes are prorated. There's no annual lock-in to start, and nothing to cancel on Free, Pro, or Team. Enterprise is an annual contract.

Is $29 a temporary promo price?

$29/mo is the Pro price. Early customers who join now lock in this founding rate for the life of their account, even as we add features. The standard rate applies to signups after the founding pool fills.

Do I need a credit card to try it?

No. Free needs no card. You only add billing when you spin up your first paid always-on container or move to a paid plan.

Start free, upgrade when your app needs it

No card for Free. Set a spend cap on any paid plan and we'll alert you before you reach it. You won't get surprised.
